Jeffrey Harrington Homes recognizes the critical role that interior design plays in the design and construction of custom homes. A professional interior designer should be involved from the very start of the design process all the way to the completion of construction. We have partnered with Pamela Griffin Interiors to work with each of our clients based on her outstanding design talents and her high level of customer service demonstrated on many projects.
Pam often meets with our clients prior to selecting an architect or designer for the home plans. She is able to help assess our clients taste and preferences in architectural design and work with them to evaluate and select the person best for the project. Pam then coordinates a series of design meetings with the selected architect to develop the preliminary floor plan and elevation designs. Pam collaborates with our clients and the architect to fully explore the many design options in room layouts, floorplan logic and flow, interior and exterior spaces, perspectives, views, architectural details, cabinet layout and details, etc. These items must be considered and options explored during the design phase of each project. In the design phase and throughout construction, Pam works with our clients to set budgets and allowances for finish items such as flooring, windows, appliances, cabinetry, faux finishes, ceiling details and treatments, countertops, moldings, trim, etc. Pam typically accompanies our clients to select lighting, fixtures, flooring, etc. at the various supplier showrooms. Color selections are critically important not only on interior but also exterior surfaces. Pam insures that today's dramatic colors and faux finishes are well executed and serve as the cohesive component that ties all of the rooms together as well as the interior to the exterior of our custom homes. Pam is a graduate of the University of Texas College of Interior Design. |
